The MTV Metallveredlung has started an additional production site for the coating of big, heavy and complicated parts in Mülheim/Ruhr. In this new plant the double quantity of CASTOR-Containers can be electro plated and mechanical treated in immediate nearness to the customer.

The additional capacity in the main plant in Solingen meanwhile is used for the upgrading and modernization of the fully automatic coating equipment as well as the further extension of MTV’s own coating processes. Thus a total of two additional baths were installed and put into operation only during the past six months for the sea water resistant NiL35 and three additional bathes for the wear resistant NICA.
