The number and diversity of customers and products necessitates
extensive internal and external quality assurance measures.

Auditing, certification, special inspection techniques, modern
test equipment and methods employed by the Quality Assurance
Department, ensure that the quality of MTV’s coatings are always
of the highest standard guaranteeing customer satisfaction.

Any quality issue is overcome in co-operation either with the
customer, their customer, Institutes and/or Universities .

Measurement of coating dimensions, strength, wear and
corrosion resistance, hardness, ductility, surface topography, alloy
composition, structure, internal stress and adhesion are all carried
out on a routine daily basis.

Much more complex are neutronphysical protection measurements, drop tests, fire tests, investigation of the residual stress behaviour with the bore hole technology and DMS-rosette, acoustic discharge measurements, thermal shock tests,  .... which has been also accomplished. alternating temperature tests, 4-point bending test, container thightness tests and several abrasion tests.
